I was playing with Megan's piggy bank toy with her this morning - it is a pig that you put toy coins in and it sings and talks to you. Megan LOVES these coins - she never gets tired of them and will always move to get them.
When you put the coins in the top of the pig they will sit there until you push them in - she is not fond of them dropping in so she tries to pull them out and sometimes pushes them in by mistake. I will push them down to get the music to come on while we are playing. Well after a few coins today she was trying to take them away from me before I could put them in the bank. When she wasn't always successful she changed tactics and put one hand over the slot and then took the coin away from me with the other hand. How smart is that?

Christmas...
Megan had a wonderful Christmas this year. She was great at unwrapping and of course with playing with her new toys.
She got a pink rocking horse, which she loves. She can't do it all by herself but she still has a great time on it. She also got a ride-on/walk behind lion that roars and sings when you push its nose. She loves that too and will just push the nose constantly.
Granny visited us for Christmas this year and after a couple of hours Megan warmed up to her and had a great time playing with her. She gave granny a big purple ball so they could play together and she had so much fun with it.
She is standing more often now - still only when someone is right there, so not on her own; but standing way more than she was. She is also sitting in her chair or on the lion for several minutes at a time and doing a great job.

Date "night"
We had a date this afternoon. Megan hung out with Jen. She did great when we left - no crying at all. However, she wouldn't eat for Jen. She gets a snack every day between 3 & 3:30. We got back from our date at 5p and she hadn't eaten. I felt so bad for her. Jen said she tried to feed her 3 or 4 times and that she just wouldn't eat.
As soon as we got home and found out Will put her in her highchair and Megan ate an entire cereal bar in 3-4 minutes(usually takes her about 15).

Amazing little girl
A couple of weeks ago when Megan was getting tired I would ask her if she wanted to go to bed. She would shake her head yes and get excited. Yes - my daughter gets happy when you ask her if she wants to go to bed. If she is not ready, she just says no.
She has been down to 2 naps a day for sometime now, but sometimes she is still a little tired later in the day. Today I asked her if she wanted to lay down and I got a yes and lots of clapping. Such an amazing little girl.

Such love for daddy
Megan adores Will - she always gets excited when she sees him. Sometimes she practically leaps off of my lap to get to him when he gets home.
Today I was playing in the floor with her and Will came in the room and sat down on the couch. We played for a little bit and then I sat up next to the couch and sat Megan on my leg. She stood up, by herself, to try to get to Will. He is great motivation for her to get moving.

Snorting
Megan has been able to snort for quite awhile now - but it didn't always seem like she meant to do it; sometimes she would do it and then laugh.
Well over the past week (while I was sick and Will was the main caregiver)she started snorting when Will would act like he was honking her nose. Now she snorts anytime you get close to her nose with your fingers. She also does it all the time by herself now when she is playing.
