Yesterday was family picture day, our first since Sam joined us. The photographer laid Megan on a bean bag and then laid Sam on her arm and put her arm around him. She did amazingly well with this - she did bonk him on the head once and then when he turned to look at her she tried to push his face away. She did great with the pictures, except she wouldn't smile.
A few weeks ago I taught Megan how to say love in sign language. I was working with her to say "love daddy". Yesterday when Will was giving her some medicine he somehow hurt her and she was very upset - she wouldn't calm down until I comforted her. After I gave her the meds she was laying in the floor looking at Will and she signed "love daddy". It was so sweet. If someone upsets her she will generally forgive pretty quickly and let you know by giving you a kiss or snuggle, but since she couldn't reach him (he was standing up) she told him she loved him. Then several times for the rest of the day she would sign "love daddy". A whole new way to melt his heart.
