Megan has started throwing her food again over the past week and a half. I mean throwing her food A LOT! I was thinking that it was related to her having to use the picture cards to request food and then we only give her a few of the item and she has to request it again to get more. I am sure this is frustrating to her - she just wants to eat.
So she has started throwing her food on the floor. We had really gotten away from this - I could even walk across the room and she wouldn't do it and now I am constantly saying "in your mouth or you are all done". Ugh!
I talked to her teacher today during pickup (a rare thing that I get to see her) and she said she is seeing that again this week too. When I told her what I thought it was she said "yep I bet you are right". I feel bad for Megan but when she fully grasps the new system we won't have to do this to her at snack anymore.
