Megan felt good yesterday - no more fever, no more runny nose, no more laying down everywhere because she was tired.
Yesterday Megan was playing with a mirror and she saw me in the reflection and it freaked her out - she jumped back and looked up at me. I reassured her that it was okay and eventually she went back to the mirror. She saw me again and this time was just a little concerned about it; but by the third time she was loving it. We played in the mirror for quite a while.
I have found a "miracle" brush for Megan's hair. Her hair is fine and curly when means it tangles and matts easily. If I am on top of it and comb it every day then with a ton of tangle spray and a comb I can get it done in 5-7 minutes. She does really well with the process but I wanted something easier for her. I did some research and went to Sally's and asked and bought a brush. Her hair was really, really bad - because she had been sick I hadn't brushed/combed it in a week. I started working on it 2 days ago and it took me 5 minutes to get through a 1/4 inch section. It was crazy.
So, with the new brush in hand I sprayed some de-tangle spray on her hair and in about 1 minute I had brushed all of her hair. It was amazing. Then last night after her bath, for the first time ever, I brushed her hair without any de-tangle spray. It took about 30 seconds and her hair was done. Now for the ultimate test....daddy brushed Megan's hair this morning by himself. He did it in about a minute - he has never been able to comb through her hair like I did.
