For Father's Day the kids each gave Will a remote controlled car that is intended for children so that he could play with them together with the kids. Megan loved chasing the cars around. She isn't quite ready to control one yet but she was happy with daddy doing it for her.
I have been keeping my eye out for a cozy coupe for the kids - mostly for Megan right now but Sam will grow into it too. I found one this weekend that was in good shape and was priced well so we scooped it up. I cleaned it this afternoon during nap and put Megan in it for the first time when she got up. She immediately started pushing it around and smiling. She does much better in reverse but got the hang of going forward too. We went back out after dinner and she had so much fun. I think we will be spending more time in the driveway in her new car.
Megan is still spending time on her feet but I am having to work harder to motivate her. She will be back on Daisy or the new pony in 2 days and I am looking forward to it.
