We have had a rough 7-8 days. The first 5 were the worst with Megan waking up every 1-2 hours screaming in the night. She has been consistently running a fever that whole time and was clingy and tired.
We assumed she was teething because she has 2 teeth in the front, right on top of each other, trying to come in. They both get just to the point of breaking through and then go back down.
Yesterday I called the doctor's office because I was concerned about the amount of Tylenol she has been getting, since this is dragging out so long. They said her fevers were a little high and asked that we come in today.
This morning, for the first time in more than a week, she woke up without a fever. I thought we might be in the clear, but she was wiped and running a fever after her therapy play session.
The doctor said her ears look good - GREAT!; her lungs are clear - GREAT; her nose looks good - GREAT! and then....Whoa baby she has 2 molars that have started cutting through (you can feel them) and 2 more about to cut through - that is in addition to the 2 in the front. He still thinks that she has been fighting a virus, but agrees that most of the issues are probably due to the 6 teeth coming in.
