Bananas, tooth & getting started

Megan has had bananas before but always in bite size pieces. Yesterday was a gorgeous day and we were out on the deck when Megan woke up from her nap. I put her in Will's lap and offered her a banana. She bit down on it, left teeth impressions in it but didn't bite off anything. After she tasted what was on her teeth and realized what it was she sat up and took a big bite. She continued to eat about 1/2 of the banana - we had so much fun watching her and seeing her enjoy it. When she would get a really big bite she made her "hahaha, I did it" face and noises.

I have no idea how her 2 molars are doing because I can't see them and she doesn't let me in her mouth; however yesterday her bottom front tooth finally broke through. The top one in the front is extremely close but hadn't quite broken through yet yesterday.

Megan has always tried things out in her crib before she does anywhere else. Will said that yesterday morning one time when she was up on her hands and knees that she put one hand up on the top of the crib railing. This is the first time we have seen her do this - she puts her hands up high on toys, but haven't seen her even try to touch the crib. I think this is her getting started with pulling up.
