This morning Megan and Sam were playing with her chair. He was on his knees at the side of the chair and she was sitting in the floor in front of the chair. She was grabbing his hand and making him push the big button in the seat of the chair so the music would come on.
Sam was not cooperating with this maneuver. He was fighting her and pulling his hand back from her, but she wasn't giving up. This went on for a few minutes until he decided he had had enough and he yanked his arm away and went to crawl off. Megan got very upset - she was starting to throw a fit, was yelling/moaning about it and just when I was about to tell her not to throw a fit Sam did something amazing. Sam SIGHED! and then stopped crawling away, got back up on his knees and stretched his arm out putting his hand in her hand and he let her put it on the button. Oh my goodness!
Sam understood that Megan was upset about what he did and he went back and let her do what she wanted.
Today is mine and Will's anniversary (14 years). I ordered chocolate covered oreos and strawberries and they arrived before lunch. After lunch Will shared an oreo with Megan and she loved it, couldn't get enough of it. For dinner we had Carraba's and she really enjoyed her special dinner. I shared a strawberry with her after dinner and she was so happy. She loves our anniversary because she got to eat 3 special things today.
