Megan had her 8 week follow-up visit with the opthamologist today. He agrees the glasses are working, but that there are still 2 "obstacles" she needs to overcome.
The first has to do with her not developing a dominant eye. She is fine now, just have to watch it.
The second has to do with the alignment of her eyes when she looks upward. This has to do with her tendons and needs to correct itself or it will require intervention.
The visit was relatively painless, though Megan remembers the doctor, the chair and the toy he uses to get her attention. As soon as he broke out that toy she came unglued. At one point, after she was no longer in the chair, he turned out the lights so he could shine a light in her eyes. That part she loved; especially when I asked him a question and he did it again but shined the light on his hand instead of her face.
