Will took a late lunch today to be with Megan so I could go to a doctor's appointment. While I was gone and Will was playing with her Megan got herself into sitting again, all by herself.
Yippee! So proud of her.
UPDATE
Megan was already in bed when I got home but she wasn't sleeping. About 30 minutes after I got back I checked the monitor to see if she was on her way to being asleep or if I should get her up. She wasn't on her way to sleep because she was sitting up in her bed. So fun to see that.
UPDATE AGAIN
Megan was very tired tonight when Will put her to bed so I expected her to be asleep within a few minutes; and after a few minutes she quit talking/making noise so I assumed she was asleep or well on her way. About 30 minutes later I heard her laughing and when I looked at the monitor she was sitting up against the side of the crib rocking back and forth and laughing when she bonked her head on the side. She was looking backwards over the edge at her nightlight as well. When seated she is a few inches taller than the side of her crib - time to lower it tomorrow. I went up and layed her down because she hit her head pretty hard and I wasn't sure she would want to give up her new found position.
